CMMI Coaching.
SE-CURE AG can support in launching a CMMI-based improvement effort. Typical issues to be considered are: - What is the expected role of management?
- How can the project be organized?
- What training is needed in what areas?
- What are good examples of a process architecture?
- What is a feasible rollout concept and roadmap?
- What is the current performance?
- How can a solid business case for improvements be derived?
SE-CURE
AG can provide both formal and informal (mini-) appraisals
of an
organisation to determine strengths and weaknesses using the CMMI.
Formal assessments (in collaboration with partners) can use the SCAMPI sm
Class A,
B or C appraisal methods. A typical
internal appraisal
involves:
- Agreeing
the assessment approach (formal or informal);
- Distributing
questionnaires;
- Conducting
on-site staff interviews and group sessions;
- Reviewing
documentation;
- Validating
the findings with the group – thereby obtaining further
consensus and buy-in;
- Presenting
results and producing the appraisal report;

planning (optional).
SE-CURE AG has also developed the CMMI®
Appraisal Recorder. This product supports both SCAMPIsm
and
internal appraisal teams in recording their CMMI® (version 1.2)
appraisal findings
and (configurable) scores for all process areas considered. Results are

Coaching.
Successful adoption of Scrum can increase
development velocity,
improve project predictability, and enhance visibility into the
